And job searching is a literal hellscape.

If you’ve been in the job market lately, you’ve probably noticed that looking for a job is an endless vortex of despair. We’ve traded human intuition for algorithms, and now, with the rise of A.I., things are at a whole new level of suck.

It’s no longer about just impressing a person; now, you’re pitching your entire career to a machine. And the machine doesn’t care how creative or passionate you are. It just wants to check some boxes.

Depending on what kind of company you’re applying to, your resume could be passed through several checks before it reaches me, an actual creative person making the hiring decisions. Your resume needs to appeal to the Hiring Managers, Creative Directors and unfortunately, A.I. bots and robo-scanners.

While I may not be a recruiter by title, I’ve been the one making hiring decisions for creative roles throughout a significant portion of my career.

I’ve experienced the hiring process at agencies, startups, and in-house companies as small as four and as large as 4,000. I’ve worked as a freelancer, where one of my offerings was helping clients hire creative roles. I’ve hired all seniority levels, from Director to straight out of school.

I’m looking at your resumes, and I want you all to get good jobs! I want to hire you! And selfishly, I want to make it easier and less time-consuming for me to hire you. And the first step is to help you write an excellent resume.

This is everything I’ve learned working in the creative industry for 17+ years and reviewing thousands of resumes from creative people.

Let me help you get a job.

If you’re a Mac user pleeeeease just use the Google versions of these templates. Microsoft Word has all sorts of issues exporting to pdf on Mac and I can’t provide you tech support.

All the fonts used in these templates are free. They’re all able to be read by ATS programs.
